GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB

Under limited supervision, is responsible for all financial, human resources, and purchasing aspects for both Richard Winn and the Early Learning Center.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Collects and records tuition, daycare, and other payments for deposit

Records payments in the FACTS Tuition Management System

Reviews, codes, and records all accounts payable documents 

Ensures the proper paperwork is completed and submitted for new employees 

Maintains personnel, payroll, and accounts payable files

Updates and distributes monthly leave balance reports

Processes payroll

Prepares reports for the Head of School and Board of Directors

Assists parents in resolving financial related issues

Prepares monthly reconciliations for all bank accounts

Prepares year-end 1099 forms

Assists outside firm in preparing tax returns

Other duties as assigned by the Head of School

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and two or more years of experience in the field, or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities. 

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and QuickBooks accounting software.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to read,understand, and create reports and spreadsheets and present them to the Head of School and Board of Directors.

Must have strong multitasking, organizational, and time management skills.

Must have an ability to develop strong working relationships with colleagues, board members, and stakeholders.
