Spelling Bee 2025 Information:
Registration: 9:00-9:30
Competition Times:
3rd, 5th, and 7th Grades will Compete at 9:45
4th, 6th, and 8th Grades will Compete at 11:15
Awards Ceremony: estimated for 1:00
PLEASE NOTE - 3rd and 4th GRADERS WILL REGISTER AT LAURENCE MANNING ACADEMY AND WILL COMPETE IN THEIR GYMNASIUM. TRANSPORTATION WILL BE PROVIDED TO AND FROM THE CAMPUS IF NEEDED. LMA SCHOOL BUSES WILL DEPART WELDON AUDITORIUM AND WILL RETURN ON A ROTATING SCHEDULE. FAILURE TO REGISTER BY 9:30 WILL RESULT IN A FORFEITURE OF YOUR SPOT. If a sponsor is traveling alone with 3rd - 8th graders, the sponsor will need to stay with his/her 3rd and 4th graders and sign in the 5th-8th graders with SCISA Staff. 5th and 6th GRADERS WILL REGISTER AT WELDON AND WILL REPORT DIRECTLY TO THE WELDON GYM (student ambassadors will show you the way). 7th and 8th GRADERS WILL REGISTER AT WELDON AUDITORIUM AND WILL REPORT DIRECTLY TO THE STAGE TO COMPETE.
It is important to note that each school selects 1 speller per grade. (Not 2 as stated in the rules)
NUMBERS WILL BE RANDOMNLY DRAWN AND ISSUED TO THE SCHOOOLS.
