Jubilee Academy is seeking a part-time After-School Enrichment Coordinator. The Enrichment Coordinator will assist in developing and managing a sports and child development program geared toward children ages 2- 11. This candidate must have a strong interest in working with inner-city youth and have expertise in content-specific program activities relating to sports, character development, team-building, and sportsmanship with a Biblical foundation. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and engagement of children in assigned activities
  • Develop weekly activity lesson plans
  • Facilitate purposeful activities that foster the development of new skills in children, while reinforcing skills/information previously taught
  • Assist in all activities needed for the orderly operation of the program, inclusive of: supervising children, facilitating dismissal, coordinating and conducting field trips, hosting special events and parent night, communicating equipment needs, etc.
  • Work with ED and teachers, engaging them in the lesson plan development process and reporting on program progress
  • Provide strong classroom and behavioral management skills, ensuring that all volunteers and interns follow agency and program rules
  • Complete all projects and tasks as requested, while ensuring the safety and security of all participants and the smooth operation of programming
  • Attend and supervise children during special projects and field trips, including those which may occur outside of regular program hours
  • Demonstrate key competencies including: initiative, teamwork, cooperation, preparedness, professionalism, reliability, and a willingness to maintain an open mind
  • Available during after-school hours, generally 3:00 p.m. through 6:00 p.m.; 15 hours per week

Jubilee Academy – Christian Montessori

Heartworks Ministry’s Jubilee Academy is a small, Christian Montessori school seeking an Assistant in the Infant and Toddler Class (birth – 3). The assistant supports the lead teacher in daily monitoring and supervision of the children and their work, including maintaining the classroom environment and guiding children with interaction, behavior and following rules and procedures.
